IT'S YOUR POWER Extension
We had previously communicated that the IT'S YOUR POWER app and connected devices would stop working October 1. However, we've been granted an extension to keep the program and devices operating through November 30, 2020.

Q: Is the IT'S YOUR POWER app being discontinued?
A: AEP Ohio has regulatory approval to offer this service through November 30, 2020. We'll update you once additional information becomes available.

Q: Are AEP Ohio's other Energy Efficiency Programs extended?
A: Other energy efficiency programs have not been approved beyond September 30, 2020. Learn more about AEP Ohio's Energy Efficiency Program Ramp-down here.

Q: How can I return the Energy Bridge?
A: You are not required to return the device, however we encourage you to responsibly recycle the Energy Bridge. Please contact IT’S YOUR POWER support at YourPowerHelp@AEP.com or 877-427-0626 to request a free return label. Once you receive your return label, simply package the Energy Bridge and drop it in the mail.

Q: Once the program ends, can I use the Powerley thermostat in my home?
A: Yes, you can continue to use the thermostat, however the scheduling and remote control features will not be available. You will be able to manually adjust your thermostat mode and temperature setting using the buttons on the face of the thermostat.

Q: After November 30, can I continue to use the connected devices (smart lights, plugs, etc.) in my home?
A: Many smart home devices can be controlled by their manufacturer applications. There are also universal smart home hubs that may also be used. Please check the device manufacturer's website for compatible applications or products.
